A Brief History
Born in Makkah, 570 CE, orphaned early in life.
Known as truthful and trustworthy, worked as a shepherd and merchant.
Monotheistic, worshipped Allah, rejected idolatry, illiterate.
Began receiving revelations at forty, continued for twenty-three years.
Preached Islam, faced persecution, migrated to Madeenah in 622 CE.
Laid foundations of Islamic civilization, spread knowledge and justice.
Passed away in 632 CE, buried in his wife Aisha's room in Madeenah.
